Three Restored Paintings at the Uffizi

Until Friday, March 29, the Uffizi Gallery presents the restoration of three of the Gallery's most antique panel paintings in the space of the former church of San Pier Scheraggio. These include two painted crosses from the 12th and 13th centuries, and a diptych from the second half of the thirteenth century, depicting the Crucifixion and the Madonna and Child with Saints, attributed to Bonaventura Berlinghieri.
