Giovanni Agosti e Alessandro Bagnoli
The appearance on the market of a 'Deposition of Christ in the Sepulchre' by Romanino, bearing a certificate of free circulation, prompts a brief reflection on the export restrictions on artworks in today's Italy. It is hoped that the painting will remain in Italy and eventually be bought by the State.
